I had hooked up with Molly Hatchet while doing some effects for the band “The Outlaws”.  Molly Hatchet was their opening act and was out performing them.  The Outlaws were pretty much a bunch of losers at this point.  Molly Hatchet had not quite reached headliner status yet.  They were out selling The Outlaws in merchandise at the concerts too.  Molly Hatchet had some concerts coming up that they were headlining.  I fixed them up with a curtain of fire like we were doing with Blue Oyster Cult.  But this time I did it from the floor up.  Danny the lead singer just loved the effects.  He was one of the few performers who knew how to use the effects.  When the curtain of fire would go off he would stand in it as the fire bounced around him.  A real performer....
