Rick Downey contacted me about doing a show for Todd Rundgren at Legend Valley, OH.  Todd wanted some really loud explosions for the concert.  While setting up for the show Todd’s people showed me where they wanted the explosions at….  Right in front of the speakers.  From my experience with BOC I knew those speakers would be destroyed from the concussion.  Todd’s people got with the sound people and agreed to replace the cones.  This was going to be at the end of the concert so there was no problem.  It went off with a bang.  After the concert I got up with the sound guys to see the damage I was allowed to do.  The sound guys said they had NEVER seen speakers destroyed this much.
